WHY TAKE A HORSE TO DEVON IF THEY’RE NOT ‘IN SHAPE’??????

The horse apparently missed a few changes, which was no big deal, because she’s apparently not fit enough to get said changes in a competition she should be prepared for.

I guess if she wants the experience I shouldn’t judge, but come on. Prepare your horse, prepare yourself, and if she’s a Hunter stick to schooling shows until she’s fit enough or you’re capable of getting her leads throughout every course.

I want to tell you how lucky you are. Never ever take your horse for granted, because you don’t know whats its like to live without a horse. Your so fortunate to have one, and you should stand up right now, walk over to your parents, and say thank you, for giving you the gift of a horse. It’s the greatest gift you will ever receive. Some of us are not as fortunate as you. So please, give your horse hug, give your parents a hug, and don’t forget how lucky you are.

I pay for my horse myself buuut this is the truth. Plus I’ve owned since the age of 13 and God knows I wasn’t paying board back then! I am so thankful for that, even though I often find myself wanting more.
